Mitch and I love filling our home with yummy scents, and
this was our first time using essential oils regularly!
My mom always used essential oils while I was growing up,
but it wasn’t until recently that I really dove into learning about the
healing forces behind them. I love that there are so many different varieties,
each with its own set of benefits and scent, creating unique auras in the
house.
We have discovered quite a few uses for essential oils and
wanted to share a few of our favorites with you!

1. Diffusion:
Historically
the most common use of essential oils. All you need is a bottle of your
favorite essential oil (try this one from Shaman)
as well as a diffuser, and your home will be invigorated with your favorite
scent!
Different scents work in unique ways to create different moods (sometimes
we love to use a stimulating oil like peppermint to start our studies in the
morning and a relaxing scent like lavender while winding down at night).
By
trying a bunch of different oils, you’ll quickly figure out which ones you like
most-which ones keep you focused, which ones calm you down, and which ones just
smell amazing!
2. Topically:
You
can pretty much put essential oils wherever you want on your body (other than
your eyes and ears of course). Some oils help with relaxing sore muscles, while
others are great for stress relief. Shaman Oils are particularly perfect for topical use because they are harvested sustainably from natural products and are quality tested to meet stringent standards.
3. Massages:
Far
and away my favorite way to use essential oils 😊 While we definitely aren’t professional
masseuses, essential oils have definitely helped to improve our massage game.
Not only do they put amazing scents in the air, they also help to ease muscle
tension and stimulate better circulation. Better blood flow, more relaxed
muscles, and your favorite scent in the air make for a sure way to enjoy better
massages!
